I saw Dr. Syndergaard through two pregnancies. He was better, by far, than the midwives I saw during my first pregnancy!! I wanted a natural birth with no drugs, and minimal intervention. My labors were long, running 25+ hours, and most doctors, including the midwives I went to, want to progress labor, earlier than is necessary. He was respectful of my wishes, and my babies were born safely, and just as I wanted.
Favorite doctor in UBMC for OBGYN, I've seen all of them and he's definitely my favorite.
Syndergarrd is the best doctor! He cared for me throughout both my pregnancies and caught my thyroid issue right off the bat! I went in for birth control and he told me the cons and pros of EVERY one he had. I'm keeping him as my regular doctor instead of going back to my family one. He's the best!
Finally a doctor that listens and doesn't just want to write you a Rx and move to the next patient.
Every visit, he asked if I had questions, which was huge for me. So many doctors just spout off information, and expect you to have a full understanding of what is happening. He was the only OB/GYN to ask me questions to see if I was having issues with pelvic floor dysfunction. So many women are totally unaware that this is even a concern after pregnancy! Dr. Syndergaard is truly the best doctor I've ever seen. My husband actually told him, he wishes he wasn't a "lady doctor" because he wants to be able to go to him!
Dr. Syndergaard has been fantastic to work with. He is incredibly professional while also being incredibly personable. Overall an excellent Doctor to go and see. He truly cares about his patients.
He also performed my tubal ligation. My incisions were tiny and healed so quickly! I can't even see scarring!
